Education at our Ashram began when we began teaching girls till 10th grade in order to help them find work. Since then, we have increased our scope of endeavors in the education sector manifolds by introducing several programs that will help not only the tribal communities but also aspiring students in the realm of nursing and medicine. It is our mission to provide students with opportunities for learning, realizing and enhancing the inner potential through integral education and teaching value-based life-skills.
Sharda Mandir is a residential, co-educational, Gujarati-medium primary school situated at our "Bakshi Panch" campus. The school is recognized by the Gujarat State Education Board and follows its prescribed curriculum. Students from local villages and our own foster homes are admitted to the school with the vision of giving them a brighter future. Besides quality education, the school provides its students with lodging, clothing and medical care.
From the headmaster to class teachers to the hostel warden, every faculty of the school is dedicated to ensuring the wellbeing of students in terms of their health and education. Drama classes, music lessons, farming and agriculture education for boys and embroidery for girls are just some highlights of the unique activities that the school undertakes for its students. The endeavors of the school have been responsible for bringing about a sea change in the attitude of the locals towards education. More and more parents are now eager to enroll their children here, irrespective of their gender, which has led to better jobs and brighter futures of the younger generation.
