Student volunteer Camps - July & Aug 2011

MSA held a 2 week long Students Volunteer Camps in July & August 2011.

In July, 4 college & school students from US and Canada immersed into various

activities such as shadowing physicians, witnessing surgeries in the OTs, spending time with students in our schools, interacting with seniors and visiting many renewable energy applicaitons across the Ashram.  The students also visited several local NGOs providing better health to the communicty.  The students had a once-in-alife-time experience at the ashram.  

Here is what Vaibhavi said, "I just was blown away with what I saw and experienced. I had absolutely no expectation of the amazing things I was able to see at the ashram.  As for the medical experience, everything was fantastic. All the surgeries were absolutely amazing. I had an awesome time being able to be just inches away from the surgeon performing an operation on a patient." 

In August, two college girls from UK volunteered at Ashram.  Their main focus was education.  They spent a lot of time with the young kids at Sharda Mandir and Eklavya.  They were extremely happy of the experience.
