Due to the large number of energy-consuming activities at Muni Seva Ashram, the Ashram has attmped to use renewable energy wherever possible to reduce operating expense. This is especially so for KCHRC which requires controlled temperature round the clock.
Another reason why renewable energy being used at Ashram is to be a model for others to follow. Normally people think and say that Solar energy is good BUT in same breath they say that either its too expensive or that it does not work. Ashram would like to break this myth and show that Solar Energy is not only about economics but also about protecting mother earth from Global Warming and Pollution thats created when conventional energy resources are used.
